Place: Sweet Tooth Hotel
Where: Dallas, Texas
Address: 2316 Victory Park Ln, Dallas, TX 75219
After it’s successful first opening of the Sweet Tooth Hotel, the second installation of this pop-up art exhibit had a lot to live up to. Launching “1955” at the start of November, this theme is described as if a rocket ship were to crash into a land of candy (cool, right?) The best part about the Sweet Tooth Hotel: it’s interactive. Since I was missing home, and my best friend Isabel is always down for an adventure, we decided to go to Dallas one weekend. Sweet Tooth Hotel was first on our list.
Walking up, there were picture opportunities from the get go. Look how cute their window design is!

I loved the design they made on the ground too it was perfect to snap a pic against.

When we walked inside, there was a front desk where you check in. You have to buy tickets to the hotel because only a limited number of people can go in at a time. I 100% suggest buying your tickets online beforehand.

Behind the front desk was a couple of Polaroid cameras you could rent while you were there with the film for purchase too! They even offered a couple costumes you can try on (which I of course did).

Right next to the check in desk was the first art installation, described as a rainbow oil spill. Let me just say I was HERE for it.
Another place you get to take pictures at before going into the exhibit was the Antigravity wall.

It was a fun wall to pose behind, especially once you flip the photo upside down for the final effect!

Once we went inside, we had an hour to explore the rooms and take as many photos as we wanted. There was an employee in the exhibit with us to tell us about all the features of each room, and more than happy to help take your picture or suggest poses.
My first favorite room was the black and white monster room called Astral Pals From Beyond. The creatures rocked back and forth, and the walls made the perfect background.

If you’re a fan of the outfit I wore at the exhibit, there’s a post about it coming soon!
Remember how I mentioned I wore one of the costumes? The space suit was SO fun to take pictures in, I was sad that the zipper on my spacesuit had been removed.

My second favorite room was the red blow pop themed room titled Blow.

On one side next to the lips, was a wall with pinwheels you could blow on to make spin.
Sweet Tooth Hotel even liked the photo I took in this room so much that they wanted to put it on their Instagram! I high-key felt really honored.

By far my favorite painted wall in the place was the one below. The room was called Astral Diner: A Greenhouse Oasis.

It was such a fun illustration and I just loved how colorful it was. Plus it perfectly tied in with the TV on the opposite wall!

I don’t want to show too much more of what’s inside this magnificent exhibit because it’s definitely worth experiencing in person!

Love the photos! What a fun thing to do in Dallas.
