Place: Dead Horse Point National Park
Where: Moab, Utah
Address: UT-313, Moab, UT 84532
Continuing on our journey out in Moab was Dead Horse Point National Park. This park lays right outside Moab just a little before Arches National Park. My favorite part of this park was mostly the view from more than 5,000 feet up. Seriously, I couldn’t get over being somewhere that was 90 degrees while still seeing snowcapped mountains in the distance.
We decided to go to the park after spending the day hiking out in Arches. Dead Horse National Park offers hiking and biking trails, along with various camping options, including YURTS! That’s right, you can sleep at 5,000+ feet in a Yurt during your time in Moab if you so please.
The main attraction at this park though is honestly the view. There’s a large lookout available, and it’s just a short walk away from a parking lot making this view easily accessible for everyone. It was really incredible to just see how erosion has shaped the Earth over the years. Not only that, the view really does make for some great pictures.
